Turmeric Tea (AKA Golden Milk)

I usually start with either almond milk, coconut milk, cashew milk, or a combination. I pour about 8 oz into a blender. Then I add a teaspoon of turmeric, a half inch chunk of ginger root, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, a pinch of black pepper (very important), a teaspoon of honey, and if I feel like a little spark a pinch of cayenne pepper. I blend it then pour it into a small pot and heat it until I see a bit of steam. If you have a Vitamix then heat it while you blend it. Then I stir it and pour it into a glass or cup and drink it. I do this at least once or twice a week.
